The Big Idea : My learning topic about History. Back in the 1800's - 1900's people lifestyle was different then our's now so the important thing I want the player to learn is the things they had a long time ago.
Research : The kind of research I did was looking at food they grew themselves that we buy.I also looked at transportation and life on farms.I learned that some farms that grew their own food needed to be watched and cared for often so other things won't ruin or it would be taken care or properly.
Making Decisions : At first I was thinking about doing it on the 13 colonies but I thought it would take me forever to draw out all 13 colonies so I decided to just do the lifestyle of people back in the day.
Mastering Programming : Some game ingredients like hidden object list and game background music helped me because it made the game much cooler that the name disappears when you click on the object and the music makes the game less boring because you hearing music and not just trying to find objects.
Overcoming Challenges : I think making the game educational was hard because I didn't know how to make the game look like it's learning topic which was history and making the game ingredients work. I overcame it by just working throughout the game and re-reading the lesson,watching the video,and asking for help. I'm most proud of my hidden object list because I was the first in the class and grade to finish it and make it work.
